EAST MIDLANDS ASSOCIATION OF SCOTTISH SOCIETIES


The East Midlands Association of Scottish Societies was formed in 1953 bringing together Scottish Societies and Associations in Warwickshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire and Norfolk. Since then a number of Societies have been dissolved. Today there are four Societies within the East Midlands Association. These are:


The Derby Scottish Association and Burns Club
The Huntingdon and District Caledonian Society
The Leicester Caledonian Society

The Rushden and District Caledonian Society

 

                    DISSOLUTION OF THE EAST MIDLANDS ASSOCIATION OF SCOTTISH SOCIETIES

AT ITS AGM FOLLOWED BY AN EGM ON 3 NOVEMBER 2018 A DECISION WAS TAKEN TO DISSOLVE E.M.A.S.S.

IT IS INTENDED TO WIND UP THE AFFAIRS OF E.M.A.S.S. BY THE 31 DECEMBER 2018.

IN THE EVENT THAT MEMBERS WISH TO OBTAIN COPIES OF THE DRAFT MINUTES OF THE AGM & EGM PLEASE REQUEST THEM BY USING THE CONTACT US PAGE. ANY OTHER REQUEST CAN BE MADE THE SAME WAY.
